PRIVATE DINING ROOM
– THE GALLIVANT
Commercial shop fitting / Joinery & furniture
Separate from the main restaurant and bar, the private dining room at The Gallivant is tucked away in plain sight, with fluted glass panels creating a visible divide between dining spaces.
A pair of our glazed and painted hardwood doors sit in a frame created by fixed panels which mimic the dimensions and proportions of the doors. Parliament hinges allow each door to open right out onto the adjacent panels.
One of the key features of the private dining room is the use of lines, with the glazing bars and window sills following a continuous line around the room.
A high quality finish on each frame and panel was achieved by using the best primer and paint products, sprayed in our workshop with a great deal of care.
Hardwood frames and glazing beads made in our workshop, frame clear and fluted glass which has been perfectly cut to size to fit in the aperture between walls.
When closed, the doors give complete privacy thanks the the fluted glass, yet let in ample light and ambience through the high level clear panel.
Square edges, rectangular shapes and minimal ironmongery set the tone and complete the minimal yet warm aesthetic.
