OVERVIEW

A tricky space with lots of angles, the original kitchen in a relatively new block in London wasn’t really working out for our clients – they asked us to create a modern kitchen with a bright, clean ‘Scandi’ feel to it. Using a mix of cupboards and open shelving opened up the space, with separate integrated under-counter fridge and freezer allowing a continuous, uninterrupted Quartz worktop to span the base units.

UNITS

Premium grade Birch ply was used for all the cabinetry, carcasses and doors. Open shelving and end panels proudly display the layers of the ply, whilst the light tones of the Birch help to keep the kitchen bright and airy.

SPLASHBACK

Our signature distressed Copper splash back adds warmth and character whilst providing a wipe-clean surface, continuing the clean line from the oven to the externally venting extractor hood.

TECH

Every cupboard door is handle-less and uses a push-to-open mechanism, eliminating handles to maintain the minimal aesthetic. The drawers are also push-to-open, including a full height wine rack drawer.

BACK TO OUR WORK

We commissioned Robin and his team to build us a bespoke birch ply kitchen in a space with awkward corners and we were over the moon with the result. We were highly impressed with the team’s levels of craftsmanship and enthusiasm and with Robin’s uncompromising dedication to professionalism, his attention to detail and to customer satisfaction.

Robin’s keen eye for design made for smooth and easy communication throughout the process and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for that extra level of skill and professional integrity.
