The snug room bookcase at The Gallivant Hotel
PROJECT OVERVIEW

Set back into the reclaimed Pine clad wall, each bookcase is constructed in European Oak, featuring a rebated front trim running the perimeter of each section. Built to match the window frames and following the lines created by the Oak armrests in the seating below, they are a talking point of the snug area when filled with wonderful books and objects.

SHELVES

Thick, substantial, solid Oak shelves built into each bookcase provide the perfect platform for heavy books and small trinkets alike

A rebated Oak border frames each bookcase, creating a clear separation with the reclaimed Pine cladding

CONSTRUCTION

Built into the wall, each bookshelf sits in a purpose made aperture to allow the cladding and frames to sit flush.
