OVERVIEW
This kitchen in Hastings was transformed with the use of a ‘live edge’ Oak top, Oak upstands, Copper worktop, splashback and taps, with Steel and Oak shelving. We fabricated the Copper top and taps, machined the Oak and welded the Steel legs all in the workshop and fitted it in the existing kitchen.

LIVE EDGE OAK WORKTOP
Continuing the Oak theme, without over-using either Oak or Copper meant bringing a third material into the mix – Steel. Not only does the Steel compliment the Oak worktop and shelving, it provides a strong and solid structure for the shelves, which are likely to be carrying the weight of family size kitchen goods

COPPER WORKTOPS & TAPS
Contrasting the Oak worktop on the other side of the kitchen, with hand beaten drainer grooves is the Copper worktop, siting over a classical butler sink to provide a vibrant setting to do the washing up in. Polished to a mirror finish and sealed with a food safe wax compound, Copper is the perfect material to liven up any kitchen.
