The king of timbers, Oak is one of the most beautiful and durable woods that is native to the UK. Its rich, honey colouring and interesting and varying grain make it aesthetically pleasing in almost any environment, particularly one with Oak parquet flooring and a polished plaster wall (we did those too!)

Birch ply with Oak veneer and a solid Oak lipping was used to create the carcasses, finished with food-safe hard wax oil, to ensure the inside of the cabinets are as beautiful as the doors and dovetailed drawers. Topped with a white solid surface worktop with an integrated seamless sink and black tap.

Doubling up as both a window seat and fridge, the lower height unit houses a state-of-the-art fridge drawer whilst making for a useful space to photograph delicious dishes or perch on and take in the view of the back garden. The whole Oak kitchen is ‘floating’ with a well-placed hidden leg here and there for support. .
