We were recently commissioned to build this huge terrace furniture piece. Sitting on this bench you overlook Marble Arch and Hyde Park, with a 270 degree view over the London skyline

Iroko terrace furniture on a London rooftop with plants surrounding

MATERIAL

Constructed in solid Iroko, for it’s excellent durability outdoors and unique colourings. Iroko is a remarkable timber and is perfect to use for outdoor furniture and joinery such as gates.

DESIGN

An overhanging deep seat, with a slanted back and solid cap, three sides with a deep return at each end to enclose the planters behind whilst still enjoying the scents and foliage of the shrubs and plants behind.

DETAILS

Mitred in the corner with a solid cap piece, each individual slat is held with a mechanical fixing which is hidden behind a grain matched Iroko plug, hiding any evidence of joining methods to all but the most trained eye.
